I led and managed the process to build a comprehensive disaster recovery plan and the resources needed to deliver the plan for the PepsiCo Data Centers and remote sites for priority one applications. This process included multiple recovery exercises. • Met with Senior Leadership of Sungard to negotiate and finalize the contract to provide IT recovery services for PepsiCo. I was the Project Manager for the International Privileged Access Remediation program specific for Windows, UNIX and Database platforms to ensure compliance is met according to the Sarbanes–Oxley Act (SoX). I developed and delivered the access process design, documentation, implementation, and communication required to ensure privileged access was requested, approved, granted, periodically verified, terminated and tracked per SoX. I reduced and/or eliminated audit failures. ► MY KEY ACHIEVEMENTS • The success of the project resulted in the company being able to meet compliance due to the elimination of obsolete or generic accounts globally. • I received PepsiCo’s “Best of the Best” of IT projects recognition upon completion of the project. • Successfully reduced audit failures by eliminating the use of generic accounts across the Latin American sector by gathering and documenting the business requirements needed to meet compliance. • I scheduled and delivered training to global entities (China, Mexico, Ireland, UK, Russia amongst other countries) to ensure compliance standards were understood and consistently implemented globally.
