Helping students master basic and intermediate spoken and grammatical Spanish is my specialty. I have over 20 years experience teaching Spanish at Classical Christian Schools and home-school cooperatives. Starting with proper pronunciation and continuing to conversation, I am a high energy teacher that ensures my learners' attention. I have designed creative memory songs that make learning fun and easy. I have helped many students to develop an understanding and appreciation of the Spanish language and culture. My students learn proficiency in grammar and pronunciation. Students are then enabled to be more comfortable and effective in cross cultural ministries and missions. I have gone on several Missions trips as a translator and language trainer. My students have also found success testing out of college Spanish. Many return to me sharing how they learned more from me than any other Spanish teacher they ever had, even on the college level. I enjoy other cultures and have spent a bit of time teaching English to South Korean immigrants.I have also taught and designed a supplemental program for Pre Algebra learners, taught K-9 Physical Education and managed a summer camp Extended Care Program (for ages 4-13) for 9 summers.
