We know that every person who is running a business is doing what they have to do - like payroll and scheduling - so they can do what they want to do - build a community and create moments of joy for their guests.My role is to drive product strategy that ties back to this goal and enables us to deliver the best-in-class restaurant platform (POS, handheld, reporting etc.) for 5,000+ SMB restaurants. 2021 accomplishments: - Grew restaurant processing by 315% from '20 to '21- Increased number of restaurants on the platform by 130% from '20 to '21- Successfully launched a new product to specifically target the Food Truck and on-the-go restaurant space, complete with a controlled alpha and beta to validate assumptions.- Collaborated with stakeholders across sales, support, success to create a short term and long term product strategy, vision and roadmap for the restaurant vertical. - Provided practice leadership across the org on how to scale large product teams and consistently find ways to improve communication internally and externally.

• Led an Agile team of 30 engineers to release a ReactWeb and ReactNative mobile application for a leading Asset Management firm in 6 months with a budget of $2.5M.

While working on the Markets Capabilities team I also took on Product Management of a newly formed Morningstar Analytics tool called "Data Catalyst." Using Tableau as our interface, I worked with Morningstar's Data Science and Research teams to aggregate massive amounts of data to inform Top Tier Advisory firms on how they can quantify and monitor performance of their financial advisors.

The Markets Capabilities team is part of the broader Research Software group at Morningstar and our focus is building out the company's most comprehensive solution for Market Monitoring. This SaaS solution is currently part of the Morningstar Direct Cloud platform and is a customizeable workbook that houses individual components such as the Morningstar Market Barometer, price charts, watchlists etc.

As an Associate Product Manager on the Mobile Solutions team I am responsible for executing on product definition, collecting and documenting business requirements and collaborating with all disciplines for each App release. I serve as the mobile product lead for our four newsletter iPad Apps, Morningstar StockInvestor, DividendInvestor, ETFInvestor and FundInvestor, and am also heavily involved in the development and iteration of our Morningstar for Advisor iPad App. Working in an Agile environment includes backlog grooming, prioritization of work for our dev team ,and coordination with project management for sprint planning and tracking burndowns.

As a Business Analyst on the Mobile Solutions Group, I am a member of the Product Management Team that works with developers, designers, project managers (scrum masters) and QA Analysts using an Agile software development framework. I write high-level Business Requirements and detailed User Stories in addition to researching the mobile industry to stay up to date on the latest trends. Using tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe SiteCatalyst I am able to analyze the behavior and usage of our App users to make decisions on feature enhancements and find areas for improvement.

My role as a Product Consultant enabled me to hone my customer service skills and learn how to quickly think on my feet to solve a customer's issue. I assisted Advisors at B/Ds and financial institutions using my knowledge of Morningstar Advisor Workstation, financial methodology and technical troubleshooting. During my time on the team we converted all users to the revamped 2.0 version of the product which required cooperation with cross-functional teams and end users for a smooth transition. Additionally I implemented a more streamlined workflow of handling communication to clients by delegating daily responsibilities across the team and creating a centralize "knowledge base" as a resource.
