For more than two decades I have witnessed a wide range of changes in the health industry; what a fascinating world the life sciences field is. I spend my days as a Senior Healthcare Analyst, contributing more than 25 years of experience analyzing and forecasting health-related markets. I am the COO of Mountaintop Medical LLC, a market intelligence firm focused on delivering custom reports for publication. I also work in a freelance capacity providing focused consulting services. In my spare time, I enjoy teaching PreK-12 grades. I provide in-depth coverage of pharmaceuticals, biologics, devices, diagnostics, equipment and consumables markets with a range of specialty areas including - cancer therapeutics and vaccines, pediatric drugs, handheld and wearable medical devices, healthcare IT, advanced patient monitoring, telemonitoring, and clinical nutrition products. Over the years, I have authored more than two hundred published reports.Key strengths include quantitative and qualitative market research, primary research survey design, survey execution and analysis, market forecasting, and RFP custom research project management - design, execution and delivery.Consulting involves healthcare quality analysis, lean business practices, risk mitigation measures and compliance with regulatory agencies and policies.My passion for health drives my work. I am fascinated by the evolving medical industry and its accomplishments. I consider myself a life-long learner and regularly participate in CE to stay current with new practices and procedures.I recently completed my Master of Public Health degree which focused on program development, quality improvement, evidence-based public health, health equity, determinants of health, population health, strategic communications, grant evaluation and assessment, and more. I have transitioned to program progression and candidacy for a Doctor of Education in Public Health Education. I am also passionate about our youth and their education and wellness. This passion expanded my quest for knowledge in educational leadership. i recently completed a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership, including principal leadership. I enjoy filling in as a district substitute and assisting with the growing administrative duties and roles that are in such high demand. An educator's goal is to deliver the best possible experience to students and be cognizant of what needs arise in each individual student at each moment in time - academic, social, financial, or all of the above.
