The Center for Cognitive Neuroscience and Aging’s mission is to be a national and international leader in understanding the aging brain and a hub to develop and implement the most state-of-the-art techniques for the study of brain disorders. • Administered, scored, and double scored the full neuropsychological battery for four active studies for research participants between the ages of 35-97, an average of four times a week. • Scheduled and coordinated study visits for participants to complete their MRI scan visits according to their respective protocols, an average of 12-15 scans scheduled and confirmed per month. • Created and edited site-wide operations manual with updated procedures related to MRI acquisition. • Corresponded with study partners including a team of radiologists and technicians on a weekly basis to coordinate safety readings of MRI scans completed. • Participated in manuscript editing and correspondence with journals to submit unpublished manuscripts on behalf of the Primary investigative team. Maintain communication with editing teams periodically to track the review and publication process.

Research assistant in Dr. Xiaoqian Chai's Cognitive Neurology Lab. Overall, the aim is to understand the relationship between brain organization and cognitive development by examining the default mode neural networks and how they support learning, memory and language. Currently, I am involved in a project that is studying memory development in children and comparing the processes that underlie memory in children to the known processes that underlie memory and recall in adults.

I was the intern under the Innovations Department of Jhpiego, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health of women and families. I was a Research Assistant under Research Manager Margaret Mensa, who is part of an international clinical research project that is studying the safety and efficacy of a cryotherapy device for women in the developing countries who show pre-cancerous cervical histological and cytological signs in comparison to the existing devices on the market. This project is currently taking place in Manilla, Philippines. As an intern and research assistant, I was responsible for helping edit and process the necessary documents for the study including but not limited to: research protocol, consent forms, and informational material. I also assist with the organization and cataloging of existing documents from past versions of the study.
