I am a very passionate and outgoing educator who strives to differentiate learning and to make it fun and applicable! In addition to my teaching, I have had the opportunity to conduct a variety of workshops to enhance teacher learning and student engagement. Topics that I have shared include reading and writing in the content area, student-led conferences (for my district and at the Ohio School Board Association), implementing PBIS, and literature circles. I am the sixth grade team leader, a member of our school's DLT, BLT, and OIP. Currently, I am working with a group of teachers to develop and implement RtI in our middle school. One of my proudest moments was being named the Stark County Teacher of the Year in 2011-2012!
