A natural extension of this work includes practicing in estate planning to ensure a family's changing needs are met. The focus of Melissa’s work is to ensure clients have met their individual and unique estate planning needs by drafting medical and financial powers of attorney, wills and trusts, among other important documents. Melissa’s prior experience includes complex business and insurance litigation, including defense of businesses in construction defect, contract, fraud and insurance bad faith.Melissa has taken her years of litigation experience and now works with families to resolve their disputes, with a focus on out of court settlement and mediation whenever possible. Melissa deals with all aspects of family law proceedings, including custody disputes and divorce matters.
