After gaining nearly a decade of experience working in various accounting positions, she has developed a succinct expertise in the bookkeeping field. Since graduating from Herzing College with an Accounting Technician Diploma in 2006, she has also completed first year studies and a portion of second level courses through the CGA Manitoba Education program, while gaining experience in accounting positions. Her roles have ranged from Independent Bookkeeper to Accountant, Accounting Manager, Accounting Assistant, and Accounting Clerk. Her experience working in various industries has given her an obvious advantage in mastering different types of accounting software including Five Star software for hospitality, Great Plains for construction as well as QuickBooks in professional service industries and Simply Accounting in retail industries, which are used widely throughout the bookkeeping field.Acquired competencies include: accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and billing, general ledger account reconciliation, cash flow forecasting, custom reports, payroll including T4 and ROE processing, and statutory government remittances.
