In this leadership position, I provided direction and insight in strategic planning and business operations to drive growth and equity value. I oversaw human resources, finance, statutory and contractual compliance, and corporate-wide administrative functions. In addition, managed relationships with the firm’s ESOP trustee, insurance and benefit brokers and third-party administrators, attorneys, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and outside financial associates. Having worked alongside the firm’s founding Principals for nearly a decade, I played an instrumental role in transitioning the firm to becoming a 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) practice.

Steeped in 17th-century history and under current ownership since 2003, 1640 Hart House harmonizes historic charm with modern fine dining. Initiated by collaborating with the owner Kim Costello during her tenure as my food distribution sales rep at Manchester Athletic Club. Contributed to the successful reopening of the historic gem in the competitive Boston dining scene. Introduced and adapted a reservation system from previous experience at Chandler's Tavern, enhancing efficiency and refining it to suit the unique needs of the establishment. Seamlessly transitioned into the interim manager role during the owner’s absences, ensuring operational excellence. With a foundation as a hostess, I brought a holistic understanding of the establishment's dynamics and showcased a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. All accomplished while concurrently working full-time at Manchester Athletic Club.

The MAC is one of the largest privately-owned sport complexes in New England featuring over 85,000 square feet of diverse activity space for our members to enjoy active living. Featuring 11 tennis courts, 12 pickleball courts, 3 paddle tennis courts, two heated pools, a basketball court, state-of-the-art fitness center, and 4 dedicated Group Exercise rooms, The MAC is an energetic organization of members, professional staff, facility offerings, community participation, and programs. The Yankee Candle flagship store draws 3 million visitors per year and is one of the largest tourist attractions in the state, second only to the Freedom Trail. Held this position while pursuing my degree at UMass Amherst. As the Dining Room and Banquet Supervisor I excelled in hospitality management, specializing in event planning and coordination. Adept at leading a team, I ensured exceptional guest service and demonstrated a keen understanding of the dynamic menu, contributing to the restaurants award-winning status. From traditional New England lunch fare to romantic candlelight dinners, this award-winning restaurant at Yankee Candle Village featured a menu that changed regularly and one of the region's best wine cellars.

Essex County Club has lived through several evolutions in its community's history during the 130 years of its existence and is destined to fill a continuing and perhaps expanding demand for the type of recreation and good fellowship it offers. Today, ECC boasts an expanded Club House, a Donald Ross designed eighteen-hole golf course (1917), ten grass and ten clay tennis courts, three paddle tennis courts, and a full size swimming pool.
