I have the daily pleasure of working amongst Trees, Shrubs, Perennials, Annual flowers and Tropical plants every day. I assist in ordering our spring stock of Tropical plants, seasonal Annual plants and occasionally Perennials. Daily my responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining a healthy stock of live goods, arranging display and hand picking materials for live arrangements. I assist our customers in picking out the best plant material that will fit their landscape or household needs. I also help in solving plant issues and concerns from our customers by suggesting treatment options and or proper care and correct placement or relocation of plant material.

I have been a home maker / home schooler for the past 2 1/2 years. I made the decision to leave my employer so that I could home school my daughter during her 4th and 5th grade school years. I spent my days educating her on various subjects and planning out weeks of study, maintaining a record of grades, attending special events centered on a subject we were studying and filing paperwork to the state for proof of grades. As a home maker I have enjoyed creating and maintaining financial budgets, home maintenance program, meal planning and various familiy activities.

During my employment with Lowes I held multiple positions, the majority of which was spent as the Commercial Sales Specialist. In order to fulfill the expectations of this position, I had to maintain excellent communication , phone and operational equipment skills. Daily, I would spend a substantial amount of time working face to face with customers, walking them throughout the store to discuss the different material options for their projects and creating a timeline for the completion of those projects. I was responsible for tracking and maintaining my monthly/annual sales goals using the company computer software, processing orders relating to large commercial projects, was utilized to train other employees in my expertise in commercial sales, and was tasked with special projects by management based on my experience. Additionally, having the skill to multitask was invaluable as interruption from other individuals was inevitable.

I worked as a retail sales associate in the Women's dress department assisting customers with all aspects of their purchases. I was able to help them pick and choose flattering clothing that worked well with their needs. I routinely processed credit applications, store to store purchases and always provided outstanding customer service. I was also responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment
