I am currently responsible for a team of 50-60 people, including management teams and associates. I liaise between other stores, store support center and center management staff on daily. By running my own store, I am responsible for recruitment, training and development. This includes training new store managers. I conduct our payroll and labour management activities within the store. I also have to meet sales budgets, and maintain P&L management.My role also includes maintaining stock flow and merchandising coordination throughout the Toys R Us and Babies R Us sides of the store. I have a hands on approach in my role that is heavily dependent on customer service. I work closely with all members of my team to ensure that my stores offer impeccable customer service to every customer. Show less

My role as Assistant Store Manager lasted 3 years. Within this time my roles included recruitment and training, implementing procedures and assisting the store manager with all store operations that i now complete as Store Manager. Within this time, I, also filled in as a secondment Store Manager

As Babies R Us department Manager it was my role to oversee the Babies R Us department. This included front end procedures, merchandising and replenishment and sales floor duties. I also had to oversee and implement OH&S and loss prevention procedures within this department.
