I am currently an undergrad student at Saint Xavier University in Chicago Illinois. I am a psychology major and I am looking to become a marriage and family therapist.I was part of my high schools JROTC program. Along with being student leader for the Latino Culture and a member of balie de sol dance team. My junior year of high school I got the opportunity to become a teacher assistant for a Race,Ethnic, and Gender studies class.I was part of Collaborative Institute of Cultural Arts (CICA); which is a non- profit organization who provides opportunity to the youth and adults to learn Folkloric, a form of traditional Mexican dance . Through CICA I was able to work with younger children and collaborate with different mentors in order to teach the younger kids with their routines and more.
