I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2000 with a Bachelors Degree in Education. I am certified to teach kindergarten through eighth grades with endorsements in mathematics and science. In 2005 I received my Masters of Public Administration, with a focus on Educational Administration, from the University of Michigan.In August 2000, I was employed by Monroe Public Schools as a Class Size Reduction teacher (CSR). As a CSR, I predominately worked with first through third graders in the subject areas of math and science. In 2003 I became a fifth grade teacher at Christiancy Elementary. From 2003 to 2008 I taught either fourth or fifth grade at Christiancy.When my son was born in 2008, I temporarily left the education profession. In 2010 I became a tutor, working part-time, at Bacinski's Best of Friends Learning Institute.
