Vice President Media Relations & Cause Marketing
- Oversee the operations of all public and media relations initiatives for the South region including 4 of the top 10 media markets – Dallas-Ft. Worth, Atlanta, Houston, Tampa/St. Petersburg and over 200 stores in 10.
- Serve as a liaison with civic, community and industry organizations spearheading public-private programs.
- Develop and manage all marketing communications disciplines including: branding, content strategy, social media, and press releases, ensuring alignment with internal corporate communications.
- Maximize community relationships and media partnerships with iconic events including Macy’s Teacher of the Year, The Atlanta Great Tree Lighting and Atlanta’s iconic Pink Pig at Macy’s holiday attraction.
- Create alliances with key community organizations and state agencies including the Florida Department of Education, state Retail Federations, Make-A-Wish, American Heart Association, March of Dimes, and Got Your 6.
- Develop executive communications plans and provide guidance for senior management through crisis situations and negative public opinion.
