In this role, I'm adept at breaking down complex concepts, fostering critical thinking, and cultivating a collaborative learning environment while teaching mathematical concepts.

As a high school mathematics and English language learners teacher, my duties include creating and developing curriculum for four different courses which I teach to 100+ students daily. The position also includes being a lead teacher for 2 courses that entails providing assistance and professional development for 4 teachers. I am also a member of the district level Curriculum Development Team that works alongside administration to construct curriculum standards and assessment for the entire district.

As a Department of Defense contractor, I assist the Marines at MAWTS-1 with the creation of their 500+ courses that are taught to the students at the prestigious Weapons and Tactics Instructors Course. Duties involve teaching the pilot instructors the fundamentals of being a better teacher, working one-on-one with instructors to create learning objectives and purpose statements, forming standardized tests, analyzing test results, editing courses, managing LMS, and improving the educational system that is in place.

As an upper level mathematics teacher, I assisted in opening a new high school that emphasizes collaboration. Duties involve 5 years of curriculum development including detailed lesson planning, assessments creating, and objective writing. Department chair position involves daily management of 22 employees. Responsibilities include organizing and creating professional development, performing evaluations of employees, and developing strategies to increase effectiveness.
