Ms. Melissa Inte graduated from the Philippines' premiere state university - the University of the Philippines, Diliman with a Bachelor's degree in Filipino specifically focusing on language and teaching education. Her strong and highly competent skills in both speaking and writing in Filipino and English languages helped her maintain scholarships throughout her primary to tertiary education. In college, she is a recipient of a scholarship courtesy of the Philippines' former senator Loren Legarda through the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). The most recent success helped her to be more equipped as an educator and administrator, most especially helped for the betterment of education policies in the Philippines is her MA policy paper submitted to the Philippine Journal of Education Studies entitled Global Peace Foundation Philippines to Lead Peace Education by Overseeing the KABISIG Program of the National Government. She was invited twice to a symposium that was attended by hundreds of local and international administrators and education leaders nationwide. First wave of the pandemic, she co-founded LINK-UP (Lingkod at Ugnayan ng Pangangailangan UP Diliman), a charity organization that aims to be the avenue for compassionate UP students to serve and cooperate necessities from relief operations to educational discussions to the marginalized sectors of UP community and outside UP. Aside from academic endeavors, she is an active volunteer teacher at the Children International Foundation Inc. a top-rated humanitarian organization worldwide, focused on ending generational poverty, helping children to overcome the effects of poverty, supporting their education, and preparing youth to contribute to society. She headed the #PisaraProject of Chalkboard Inc. a workshop on teacher training that was launched with the current Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto in partnership withthe office of the Former Vice President of the Philippines, Leni Robredo. The Pisara project started from 3 learning hubs last 2021, right now it’s successfully launched learning centers from Luzon, Visayas to Mindanao. Melissa as one of the project speakers became part of the success. Alongside her strong background, she finished her virtual training on leadership and management with Harvard Business School Online where her business management, marketing, personal relations, and good leadership were tapped, which is a skill that will complement her as an educator.
