• Manage logistics for 90 Acme Supermarkets and 50 Giant Supermarket DSD accounts in the tri-state area
• Work closely with receiving departments of all Acme and Giant Supermarket locations as well as our distributors in order to maintain efficient and effective delivery and receiving procedures with all accounts
• Assisted in the development of a new procedure to more closely monitor logistical discrepancies in order to ensure all product gets delivered and invoicing is as accurate as possible
• Communicate regularly with drivers (both in-house and independent contractors) to address scheduling, special customer requests, obtain ETAs, and to resolve any delivery issues

• Responsible for daily customer order entry
• Process AP invoices and assess a bills detail to pay bills due on a weekly basis
• Assess and process customer credit requests and generate statements for all active customers on a weekly basis
• Established and maintained rapport with several hundred customers and accounts
• In 2004, assisted the company in a transition from an under performing logistics program (SBT) to Quickbooks in order to meet the demands of the growing company and to consolidate Accounts Receivable and Accounts.
• In 2010, assisted with another transition into a complete route accounting DSD logistics program (Ross Systems/AFS DSD) in order to improve and streamline day-to-day supply chain operations.

• Generate and process purchase orders for ingredients and supplies from roughly 10-12 vendors on a weekly basis
• Assisted in implementing a new inventory and purchasing program (eChef Solutions) which allowed for the comparison of ingredients and product prices across multiple vendors in order to purchase items at the lowest.
• Meet with sales representatives from vendors to maintain cost effective purchasing and resolve any invoicing, contract or pricing discrepancies
• Tracked and managed inventory levels and worked with department managers to address and resolve shortages, returns, and out of code or damaged products
