I have had the pleasure of living in Barbados for 18 years and I also lived in Lethbridge, Alberta for about 5 years before moving to Toronto. Living in these different places has granted me the opportunity to experience different cultures and to speedily adapt to a change in environment. Both my personal and work experiences exposed me to daily challenges which I overcame, pushing me to become the strong, resilient individual I am today. I am a vibrant and an enthusiastic individual who is a leader. I enjoy working with other people and I can confidently say that I am a skilled communicator. Working with others is definitely my strong suit because I am quite energetic, and I often look forward to sharing my experiences with others. I am very passionate about what I do, and I hope to one day pursue the CPA designation. It is my desire to work in an environment where I can exhibit the accounting skills which I possess, and I hope to improve these skills whenever necessary. Since I have ample experience in customer service, I’ve become a powerful persuader because I often build rapport with my clients and they trust me to make decisions on their behalf. I am a rather meticulous and detailed-oriented person which gives me the advantage of quickly and efficiently completing given tasks. Moreover, I am ready for the next chapter in my Accounting career and I am open to any opportunity which allows me to grow and excel both personally and academically.
