The MKE Tech Hub Coalition is a non-profit organization working to inclusively grow tech in the Milwaukee region. The organization serves as a connector for Milwaukee’s tech community, working with others to attract individuals and businesses to the region, grow a diverse talent pipeline, and scale the innovation ecosystem.As the first communications hire, I conceptualized and implemented a comprehensive communications strategy from the ground up, successfully establishing the organization's brand presence and driving measurable growth in audience engagement and brand awareness, contributing to increased community engagement and mission impact.

As a founding member and VP of Growth & Marketing, my role is focused on driving growth through branding, messaging and digital marketing strategies. Along with a small, multi-disciplinary team, we successfully launched a DTC pre-sale of the world’s first freezer for household waste. Work included the rebrand of HORIZON, transforming the perception in the marketplace and leading to increase in sales.

* Ongoing digital and web projects for CQ Roll Call, a leading non-partisan publication located in Washington DC. Work included client setup for CQRC Engage, an Advocacy tool that manages and tracks advocacy communications and campaigns. Program manager for Business Continuity Planning (BCP), implementing the program for the DC office.* Other client work ranged from small, local publications to website copy & management for non-profits.

* Managed websites and internal applications across company. Oversaw development from beginning to end, interacting with the business and editorial staff to deliver successful projects on time and in scope.* Managed pilot Adobe CS4 project, combining the capabilities of an XML database with Adobe InDesign to create dynamic, data-rich template pages for publishing the Politics in America book. New software decreased staff time to build the book by 60%. * Ongoing program management of custom account management and fulfillment system. After implementation, trial volume increased by 300% resulting in a significant increase in sales.
