How I made an impact at BeLeaf Medical:Directed a team to create, develop, and bring to market eight new brands in the Missouri cannabis industry. How I made an impact at Fybr:Identified weaknesses in existing marketing campaigns and developed pragmatic solutions within budgetary constraints. During my internship with Fybr I became familiar with terms like the Internet of Thing (IoT), Smart Parking, and Smart Cities. I was exposed to many new approaches in digital and social media marketing that tech industry firms utilize to reach a larger audience on multiple media platforms. I used social listening to aide in finding new connections with potential buyers and industry professionals through LinkedIn. I had the opportunity to participate in brainstorming new ideas for marketing Fybr’s brand at trade shows. I had a hands-on experience of what goes into a marketing strategy for a technology firm. I attended the IPI show in Dallas, TX and was responsible for their live tweets. I also found new material and content relating to the industry for Facebook posts. I practiced writing a blog piece about smart cities. I helped assist in the research to put together a competitor profile for the industry analysis. My internship with Fybr and the role I took on was more than just marketing. I was also responsible for completing an administrative tasks list for the firm too. The internship was a very rewarding and informative experience that taught me new skill sets and allowed my creative edge to shine.
