Performs all activities necessary to process 4 payrolls, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports for management. Verified hours worked and pay adjustments, and transferred information into the designated payroll system. Reviewed time sheets, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies. Computed wages and deductions, and entered data into computers. Processed and issued employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions. Maintained payroll-related accounts and held responsibility for the reconciliation and accuracy of one or more accounts within the accounting system. Assisted with the analyzing of accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.Assisted with the month-end close process and preparation and analysis of monthly financial and operating reports to be distributed to management staff.
