I taught English Composition, Advanced Reading Comprehension, Children's Literature, Drama, and the Short Story; Served on the Admissions Committee and the Student Activities Committee; was responsible for writing the yearly departmental report; directed the university's Drama Club; served as Managing Editor for the department's literary journal "Lantern," and received a grant from the US Embassy to develop and run an ongoing open mic poetry and guest speaker series.
