I have been a medical communications specialist for 14 years during which time I have worked across a number of therapeutic areas in support of both pre- and post-market products. Before joining the medical communications field, I gained extensive experience in oncology research, with a postdoctoral position at Fox Chase Cancer Center and as an associate scientist with Cell Pathways, Inc. I have also acquired research and supervisory experience through in vitro toxicology assay development and testing for cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and consumer product companies. In the medical communications field, I have 14 years experience in meeting development, pre- and post-commercial slide deck development and publications development. More specifically, I have extensive experience writing manuscripts, posters, and abstracts, as well as in scientific meeting planning and pre- and post-market slide deck development for both internal and external use. As a medical communications specialist, I have experience in a wide variety of therapy areas with the most extensive therapeutic expertise in oncology, schizophrenia, and multiple sclerosis.
