Responsible for the marketing of Cardiff Council’s award winning events programme which has included the Cardiff Festival, Cardiff International Food and Drink Festival, Cardiff Harbour Festival and the P1 Welsh Grand Prix of the Sea, Extreme Sailing Series, Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland, Cardiff Children's Literature Festival, RHS Flower Show Cardiff,The Great British Cheese Festival and Sport Relief Cardiff among others!Working in partnership with private sector partners, event sponsors, other council service areas and city centre stakeholders to build Cardiff as a dynamic capital city._____________________________________________________________To develop budgeted PR & marketing plans in line with key corporate objectives.To develop strong brand equity for the Cardiff brand and Cardiff Council events, assets and services to enhance the reputation of the city and attractiveness of the events for consumers and sponsors.To manage a programme of on-going research to measure customer and stakeholder perceptions of Cardiff. To review ticket prices (where relevant) and assist with the pricing structure and ticketing scheme for marketed projects.To work in partnership with relevant organisations to extend reach and promote the Cardiff brand in appropriate marketing campaigns.To manange the Sponsorship team and other council assets to ensure joint marketing opportunities are maximised and sponsor benefits delivered.Identify and secure new sponsorship and partnership opportunities.Manage existing budgets and calculate budgets for new projects.
