My passion for skin care began at age 11 when I got my first pimple. Ironically that was the same year I sold my first painting. I continued on with my career as an artist, and skin care remained a passionate hobby of mine. I was always looking up recipes for face masks on line. My aunt remembers me always having some kind of goopy concoction on my face while painting. My freshman year of college I was pre-med chemistry on an honors scholarship, as well as working full time. I was stressed and my skin was showing it. The medication the doctor prescribed only made it worse. I felt lost and defeated. I thought my skin would just always be a problem. That's when my mother introduced me to an esthetician who studied ayurveda in India. She helped my skin become beautiful again and I was eternally grateful. She had truely done what I had written off as impossible. Even on my starving artist/student/server income at the time she was worth every penny! We became friends, and over the years we shared different recipes we had developed or discovered. What was once a hobby had transformed into an obsession. I ended up running off to Miami, FL to sell art and live the dream on the beach and in the sun. It was wonderful. A few years later family brought me back to Indy where the art market was not exactly the same. For years, I had quite a collection of odd, art focused jobs, but I wanted a career. I wanted to merge my love of art and health sciences. I began Esthetics school and intended on having a practice that focused on ayurveda as well as some laser therapy. While researching and experimenting with different modalities, I discovered microcurrent and its amazing capabilities to actually change the skins composition and promote healing without first doing damage to the skin like many other procedures do. It can sculpt, tighten, plump, and restore symmetry. The results are immediate and mind blowing. Now I am blessed to share my knowledge and experience with the world.
