I assist the agency with all the internal and funder audits to ensure we are meeting the standards assigned to the agency. In this role, I’m able to review current processes/procedures and identify areas for increased productivity and improvement. Another task of this role is to find grants that will help support the mission of the agency and to diversify our funding. I also completed the grant applications. Another critical task of this role is to ensure our monthly reports are completed to the level our funders outline in our contracts and within the standards of the agency.A creative aspect of this role is to create workflow visual charts. I have completed this task using Canva. This task helps to visualize the workflow process for the staff and to help us identify any areas for improvement and efficiency. Another creative aspect of this role is to develop reporting metrics and dashboards for the various programs in the agency and to the board of directors. This includes upgrades to the agency website to ensure we were able to obtain analytics. For this task I learned WordPress website software and how to install and manage plug-ins, in order to extract the needed data. This is a new and developing role for the agency and I’m assisting in identifying the various areas and tasks that this role can assist with.

In May of 2021, I created and developed a Facebook group called Ear for You! The purpose of this is group is to bring together Disney loving adults and to have a place that they can ask questions and learn while focusing on our wellbeing! We have expended to YouTube! I’m part of a growing and expansive team that is passionate about community and agency education as it relates to mental health and human services. In my role I teach Mental Health First Aid. I specialize in the adult, geriatric, and veteran curriculum. I’m certified to offer this service either in-person, blended, or virtual. In the future I’m envisioning consulting with agencies that are interested in developing CIEs (Community Information Exchange) in their communities and offer them support and direction. I plan on developing a curriculum of support for call centers that are struggling to include best practices, metrics, and quality.

I supervised the day to day operations of the organization including, direct staff supervision and development, schedule creation and monitoring, call monitoring and coaching staff to develop upon their customer service and information and referral skills following the Inform USA standards. I have assisted the IT Department and the Michigan 2-1-1 Technology Director with trouble shooting, development, and implementation of new technology or improving upon existing technology. I have developed great skill in the use of headsets, headset lifts, features available on our headsets, and fixing/troubleshooting headset issues. I was responsible for all of our social media related to Central Michigan 2-1-1 including posting relevant information, responding to private messages, and keeping information up to date. During my time as 2-1-1 Supervisor, I’ve helped with call volume spikes and with emergencies in the counties served that result in a rise in call volume. I would create user logins for all new staff and interns within the inContact platform as well as ReferNet. I have worked with the Michigan 2-1-1 State Technology Director to train and introduce 2-1-1 Call Centers throughout the state to a new agent interface (MAX). I also have represented Central Michigan 2-1-1/Michigan 2-1-1 at the inContact User Conference presenting on how your call center can be ready for a disaster, and a panel on the benefits and uses of RiverStar. Our Call Center started using Prevention Pays for texting services for our counties and I have taken the lead at my center to develop and train staff and have worked with Prevention Pays to learn some of the advanced features and benefits of the software. I’m the lead on all community reports. I complete program quarterly reports, partner quarterly reports, monthly reports for our partners, and monthly reports for our Resource Specialists. I have completed numerous trainings in technology, leadership, and the I&R process.

I started with Victoria's Secret as a seasonal employee and with hard work and dedication I was asked to stay on as a part-time Sales Associate. After a short time, I interviewed to become a Customer Sales Lead (CSL) and was offered the position. During my time as a Customer Sales Lead I was responsible for opening and closing the store. While closing the store I was trusted to count down the registers and prepare the bank deposit. I was also responsible for making my sales goals and often I met my goal and exceeded my goals. I would also supervise and run floor sets. During a floor set we would follow a guide to set a display according to the companies wishes. One of my favorite responsibilities was employee education and development. I would preform shift evaluations and offer in the moment coaching with my staff. Overall what I loved most about this job was interacting with my customers/clients. I loved helping an individual find the perfect item to meet their needs. It was a wonderful feeling.

I would open and close the store. Would meet sales goals and add on goals. I would also perform employee supervision and coaching and development. Would prepare bank deposits and prepare the POS for the day. My favorite part of my position was helping customers find the perfect item.
