As a Mortgage Loan Processor at Navy Federal Credit Union, I apply my skills and knowledge in mortgage lending and customer service to provide a smooth and efficient loan application process for our members. I work with a team of loan officers, underwriters, and closers to review, verify, and prepare loan documents, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and Navy Federal Credit Union policies. I also communicate with members and third parties, such as appraisers, title companies, and insurance agents, to resolve any issues or questions that may arise during the loan process. I have been working in this role since Apr 2022, and I enjoy helping our members achieve their homeownership goals.Before joining Navy Federal Credit Union, I was a Customer Service Manager at Hobby Lobby for two years, where I supervised a team of customer service associates and cashiers, handled customer inquiries and complaints, and maintained store standards and inventory. I gained valuable experience in managing people, providing excellent customer service, and solving problems in a fast-paced retail environment.I am currently pursuing an associate's degree in Business Administration and Management at Northern Virginia Community College, with an expected graduation date of May 2023. I chose this field of study because I am interested in learning more about the principles and practices of running a successful business, as well as developing my leadership, communication, and analytical skills. I also hope to advance my career in the mortgage industry and explore new opportunities and challenges.
