Completed PhD studies in the department of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University. Investigated the allosteric activation mechanisms of the dysregulated epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) in the Schepartz Lab of Chemical Biology. Studies focused on selected EGFR mutants (e.g. L858R, T790M) associated with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and the role of the intracellular juxtamembrane region as a mediator of dysregulated information flow initiated from both sides of the plasma membrane.

Conducted independent undergraduate research in the field of synthetic organic chemistry under Prof. Jason Chruma. Investigated the synthesis of electrophilic arylidene derivatives as interception agents in the decarboxylative allylation of allyl diphenylglycinates.
