Assist with other services such as job postings, recruiting events, job fairs, and other resources that are a benefit to the customers. Apprenticeship Navigator role works closely with State Apprenticeship office to assist with registered programs and those seeking to become a registered apprenticeship (RA) program. Through this process business assessments are completed to help decide what type of RA is right for the business, what occupations for the region to develop, how to connect current trainings locally to those seeking RA opportunities. Develop events, Apprenticeship Accelerators, Business Learning, and Apprenticeship Career Fairs to assist in educated on apprenticeships, gain access to jobseekers, and resources they have access to as a RA program. Working with intermediaries to help build RA, utilizing Skillbridge for transitioning military- connecting them to RA programs, building local, state, and national opportunities for jobseeker’s to access RA at their current location and locations across the nation.Accomplishments in Role:8+ new RA developed, 5 fully approved RA programs, multiple new programs in process currently, 3 existing programs expansions. 200+ employers engaged regionally/Statewide FL education on RA. Held first cross regional Apprenticeship Career Fair virtually in 2022/2023, 150 jobseekers in attendance. Managed over a million dollar grant to help assist unemployed individuals return to work who were laid off from COVID. The CARES Act dollars placed those who were affected by loss of job from COVID with those businesses who had to let go employees due to lack of funds due to COVID. The grant successfully operated while allowing business to maintain operation and jobseekers return to work for specific amount of time. There was a connection made that allowed for permanent placement by more than 50% of the businesses to jobseekers. As project coordinator I oversaw all operations from connecting employers to the program, housing all documents for both jobseeker and employer, ensuring all documents processed through staffing agency, and tracking all dollars being spent through the grant. In this position I kept the same responsibility as the Resource Center Specialist and still worked in the Resource Center. The addition to the title was setting up events, board meetings, and taking on more responsibility. I started order all the supplies for the department and as needed for the Education team. Run the PPT newsletter for the students. This position like the Resource Center Specialist does a lot of odds and ends.

Customer service focused for the students, selling supplies to the students, cash handling, producing and creating ID badges(students/staff), parking decals (students/staff), creating powerpoint slides for the student newsletter, collect End of Course paperwork from all instructors (65), distribute and collect End of Course surveys, perform audits on final exams, inventory, and then odds and ends.
