I bring to the table over 25 years of professional experience, previously as a senior technical writer, and also as a manager that built and developed pioneering technical writing teams. Training and transitioning these teams seamlessly into working within a content management system has been a most fulfilling experience. I am adept at creating, editing, processing, and maintaining technical information, and have managed numerous publishing cycles throughout the years. I am also US-trained in content management and levels of re-use.Years later, a serendipitous change led me to working abroad, pivoting to learn new skills as I forged a career in Human Resources and business travel. This turned into over a decade-long adventure contracting in conflict environments, in support of the mission for the US Dept. of State, with programs in Afghanistan and Iraq. My work style is characterized by a high degree of autonomy and discretion through all phases of the business. I am able to influence and drive results laterally and remotely, partnering with senior management as well as cross-functional colleagues. Other skills developed through the years include a demonstrated proficiency in project planning and leading change through timely, information-driven solutions. This is enriched by productive partnerships with leaders of functional teams, at all stages of company development.
