- Act as liaison between Apple and Geek Squad team, disseminating repair skills and product information.- Certified by Apple in iOS device repair as an Apple Authorized Service Provider. - Chosen personally by store GM to lead as Apple Pro, due to initiative taken in learning and teaching AASP skills, setting up and maintaining Apple workspace, and reaching out to Apple support. (Described by District leadership as a “Rock Star.”)- Support fellow technicians in Apple order creation and repairs. - Coach Agents on mistakes that result in client disappointment, repair delay, and debits. - Train new hires.-Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair client hardware and software, including PC, Mac, and iPhone, to meet clients' definitions of "fixed".- Demonstrate exceptional multitasking ability in a fast-paced repair and customer service environment, often with 30 or more devices checked in at a time, while also answering the phones, greeting in-store clients, and assisting other technicians. - Maintain a turn-time of less than 48 hours, on average.- Utilize proprietary tools, command line, and publicly available vendor created fixes, while strictly adhering to the company's list of approved tools and software.-Backup and transfer client data while maintaining client data privacy and ensuring no files are lost during service.- Consistently and accurately notate steps taken during repairs. - Provide clients with detailed written and verbal records of services performed and diagnostic results.- Teach clients how to use their devices and software.- Identify and offer technology related, solution-based recommendations to solve customer needs.- Consistently exceeded target metric of 1 repair service tag completed per hour, usually achieving 2 or more per hour and frequently leading my team.- Frequently took ownership of more involved services, especially those involving macOS, while using these opportunities to teach advanced skills to more junior technicians.
