Responsible for managing a 8-person staff, ensuring financial sustainability, driving continuous improvement efforts, and evangelizing the Society’s mission, benefits, and services to local executive leaders and members of the community at large.

Lead the oversight and collaboration of key fundraising and marketing initiatives of the Society’s Utah-Southern Idaho Chapter. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with donors, corporate partners, media and community partners; building a collaborative team of staff leaders and volunteers to leverage the chapter’s fundraising events; and implementing the Society’s marketing and communications strategy.

Oversee Development, Marketing, Communications and Membership departments at Girl Scouts of Utah. Work with each team to determine fundraising plan, brand awareness, messaging, and campaigns to recruit new girl members and adult volunteers.

-Responsible for the achievement of approved revenue goals for corporations, foundations and government and the management and control of related expenses. -Prospected, cultivated and solicited current and prospective donors for general operating, annual fund, special projects, in-kind, planned giving and capital support.-Directed all activities of support staff.-Provided strategic direction and creative solutions for donor acquisition, recognition, and stewardship.-Worked with Government Relations Committee and key legislators to retain public funding.-Interacted with various board members to cultivate and acquire new donors and manage board committees.-Prepared written and oral presentations for speaking engagements.-Serve as a communication link between the organization and community. -Created grant proposals to ensure corporate, foundation and government funding. -Organize and coordinate fundraisers and special events.
