Student Life Team Within Student Central

Leading a team of creative thinkers to deliver a diverse program of events focused on enhancing and celebrating student life. My team was also responsible for the delivery of graduation at the University where we managed the completion, documentation and event details for the graduation of over six thousand students across 3 domestic and one international campuses in each academic year.

Office Of The Director And Academic Registrar, Student Central

Providing strategic and planning support to the Director of Student Central.

Conducting personal Careers Counselling Sessions and curriculum based lecture presentations, I was also responsible for the co-ordination and development of Careers Expos and enterprise wide employability programs and events.

Callaghan Campus

Job sharing the Managers role of the Student Experience and Transition team, I co-ordinated twice yearly multi-campus Student Orientation Activities including managing the newly developed Student Mentor program, Orientation Website and Orientation Program.

Maitland Learning Community

I was engaged by the Maitland Learning Community to provide a report on the wider community's perception on the group's identity and to provide advice on promotional avenues. Upon receipt of the report I worked with another project officer on community promotion projects. I developed the group's website and liaised with local media outlets to promote activities within the group.

I was originally responsible for staff technical training including policy for new government welfare initiatives and the introduction of the Newstart Payment Common Platform. I was a member of the team that conducted team training for the newly formed Centrelink agency and was the author of 'Putting the Pieces Together', a locally developed training package that was adopted nationally.

I assessed and processed applications for Newstart payments and worked with Newstart teams in Charlestown, Mayfield, Wallsend and Newcastle Regional Offices. I also contributed to my workplace by acting as the local delegate for the CPSU.
