I report to the principal of E. J. Hayes Elementary and assist her with monitoring curriculum, analyzing testing data, developing parent out-reach, and any other duties the principal needs me to work on. I work on both on-going projects and shorter term projects.

I analyzed data from massive reports and spreadsheets. I researched information for college-wide reports. I organized and updated information from the college and all schools that report within the college.

I taught grades 9-12, remedial through honors level courses. I also taught several English electives including Creative Writing, Remedial Writing, and Yearbook. As the Yearbook Adviser, I managed a budget of $20,000, increased sales revenue 50%, and increased the size of the yearbook (both book size and number of pages) while keeping the price stable for the students. Additionally, I coordinated the Graduation Project for 120 seniors, wrote the manual, developed mentors for many students, served as a liaison for my school at the county level, acted as committee chair for my school, and coordinated technology needs for all seniors.

I was responsible for teaching a syllabus, creating lessons within the syllabus, grading student work, providing on-going assessment of adult students, and reporting information to the college.
