An educator by training, I have worked in youth development initiatives within the realms of international education, workforce development, college access and success, mentorship, and outdoor recreation. I pride myself on being interdisciplinary and nimble; thus, I'm versed in process design and operational improvement, program management and strategy, curriculum design and culturally relevant pedagogy, team leadership and development, and communications and stakeholder engagement. At the National Recreation Foundation, I serve in a multifaceted role centered around operational streamlining, strategic priority implementation, special projects, and administration. As a former program director with the Schuler Scholar Program, I led a team dedicated to helping high-achieving, underrepresented youth access top colleges and universities. While at Dominican University, a nationally recognized Hispanic-Serving Institution, I spearheaded numerous student success efforts and served as the institution's youngest 2020-2021 Willenborg Faculty Fellow. I have been an active participant in community work centered around adoption, college access, and mental health, most recently serving as a board member for the Remembering Maddy Scholarship Fund.
