I fell, accidentally by the way, into the non-profit sector. Here I was, thoroughly enjoying my career in the real estate/banking industry when the 2008 global financial crisis turned everything upside down. Fortunately, as one door closed, another opened, and so began my fascinating journey through the ebbs and flows of the non-profit world.Transitioning from a corporate to a non-profit mindset involved a steep learning curve, but it was one that I embraced wholeheartedly. I discovered a passion for motivating others and realized the profound impact that strategic philanthropy can have on communities. At New Life, where I currently serve, we are dedicated to empowering youth through our five pillars of programming: academic, art, athletics, service, and spiritual formation. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to effect meaningful change.My role allows me to ensure sustainability and maximize impact. I find immense satisfaction in navigating the intricacies of non-profit communications and development.
