Responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating and monitoring all aspects of the installation Risk Reduction Program.Collecting, consolidating, and readying quarterly feeder reports from designated installation staff sections to identify, track and analyze high-risk behaviors for the installation, by brigades and battalions.As the executive coordinator and member of the Installation Prevention Team (IPT), evaluates and analyzes data gathered in quarterly reports and Unit Risk Inventories. Assesses high-risk behavior in the military unit by determining the climate of the unit and possible linkage between a variety of behavior problems. As a part of the team, reviews all data and recommendations and assist the team in formulating the final recommendations that will be presented to military commanders for consideration. Prepares related quarterly briefing materials for timely use in advising the brigade and battalion level commanders. Utilizes skills in qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to identify, analyze, and develop courses of action and recommendations to mitigate high-risk behaviors.Develops short and long term prevention strategies and recommended actions during consultations and briefings with brigade- and battalion-level commanders. Prepares reports with regard to high-risk behaviors and identified trends. Coordinates education and training provided to high-risk units by other organizations and may be required to assist other activities with related or linked problems in RRP.Develops local policies, procedures and directives relating to RRP. Prepares and updates a curriculum and complete training packet for use by battalion-level commanders or their designated representatives.
