In my role as coordinator of the Office of Graduate and Degree Completion Studies as Rowan University Divison of Rowan Global Learning & Partnerships, I work closely with Rowan University academic schools and colleges to develop and maintain educational programs that are accessible to an ever-growing population of graduate students seeking both face to face and online programs, adult undergraduate students seeking degree completion, fully-employed individuals seeking alternative course delivery methods to fit their schedules, and high school students seeking dual credit for college courses. Additionally, I administer partnerships with local colleges and high school institutions, serve as Coordinator to the LEAP Early College Program in Camden, New Jersey, perform community and industry outreach, write grant proposals, administer grant-funded programs, audit and compose graduate education policy, lead the Graduate Advisory Council and participate in the Veterans Advisory Committee, Graduate Education and Global Learning & Partnerships Senate Committee, and the Academic Integrity Committee.

Develop and implement differentiated instruction to a diversity of students including, but not limited to, gifted and talented, certified special education students, students with multiple disabilities, reluctant learners, economically disadvantaged students, advanced placement and college students. Assess skills and test performance in order to develop and implement a remediation plan for underachieving students. Administer and monitor students during state mandated standardized testing. Train faculty and staff in educational technology, Universal Design for Learning, testing strategies, assessment writing, and implementing reading programs. Create, maintain, and grow a private classroom library in light of redevelopment and lack of access to school library. Conduct career and educational advisement for students. Design and implement individualized education and alternate curriculum units for the Juvenile Justice Commission.

Developed professional and continuing education programs for district and Washington, D.C. Metro Area faculty, administration, and staff. Created and implemented motivational programs and techniques to improve student reading, writing, critical thinking, and social awareness. Cooperated with local higher education institutions as a dual enrollment college English instructor with higher education experience. Collaborated with multiple disciplines and departments within the district to improve student engagement and performance and to evaluate educational community concerns. Implemented a growth strategy for student learning, including several community education and troubleshooting documents, presentations, and discussions.

Develop, evaluate, and implement instructional materials. Provide leadership and support for a department of 10+ professionals. Document, analyze, and synthesize department, school, and district data for the improvement of overall education services. Lead a team of student writers and artists in the creation and publication of a literary magazine. Engage in strategic planning sessions with district leadership to realign district standards and assessments. Design curriculum and instructional materials to meet the needs of advanced, proficient, at-risk, and reluctant learners. Design and implement interdisciplinary instruction in collaboration with faculty, staff, and administration. Train faculty, staff, and administration on a diversity of instructional materials, their implementation, the their outcome for student achievement. Analyze student achievement data and apply outcomes to improve instruction and achievement. Train district employees to use educational technology. Pilot educational technology software, web-based applications, and hardware. Coordinate and host strategic design sessions for the national accreditation of Seneca High School. Host outreach programs to a diversity of community stakeholders including, but not limited to, business leaders, military officials, government/elected officials, district administrators, parents/guardians, higher education professionals, athletic coaches and advisors, law enforcement officials, and student leaders. Design and implement a high-interest reading program to engage reluctant learners in independent reading. Coach and advise student athletes. Plan athletic, academic, community outreach, and ceremonial events. Recruit and host guest speakers for diversity, substance abuse awareness, military, and academic programs.
