And as a consumer, I expect corporate activism and a dedication to sustainability.For more than 15 years, I’ve assisted athletes in deepening their civic engagement and mapping out personal giving strategies. We’ve worked together to identify the causes and issues about which they are most passionate and then strategized to develop programming, partnerships and grants to support their efforts.I understand my constituents’ desire to lend their time and celebrity as well as their financial resources to make an impact. I’ve used my expertise in vetting programs, evaluating proposals, and monitoring grants to help funders increase the effectiveness and impact of their philanthropy.Our fundraising events leverage the talents, interests and passion of professional athletes to attract like-minded corporate and individual donors and sponsors. I’ve developed an extensive network of internationally acclaimed charitable partners and have had the privilege of rolling up my sleeves and volunteering both domestically and abroad following natural disasters as well as during the course of ongoing partnership activities.
