As a senior physiotherapist at Livingstone Hospital, I have been working with patients with various musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory conditions for over a year. I have a B.Physiotherapy degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where I learned the theoretical and practical aspects of physiotherapy, including anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, pathology, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. I have developed strong skills in manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, and patient education, which I use to help patients achieve their optimal functional outcomes and quality of life. I am also a rehabilitation expert, with experience in managing complex and chronic cases, such as stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, and chronic pain. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, occupational and speech therapists, and social workers, to provide holistic and patient-centered care. I am passionate about physiotherapy and its role in improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities.
