I am passionate about creating and promoting diverse, engaging, and impactful stories that connect with global audiences. My PhD focuses on Film Curation at Carleton University, where I am also a researcher for several SSHRC funded projects. As the founder and CEO of Pyralume, I am leading a team of talented and creative professionals who are developing a new cloud-based streaming software to bridge global audiences to independent filmmakers and their work.At Pyralume, I am responsible for the overall vision, strategy, and execution of the software, as well as building and maintaining relationships with filmmakers, investors, partners, and customers. I leverage my scholarly, social, and investigative research skills to identify and address the needs and challenges of the filmmaking community. In addition, I am the founder of Three Fires International Film Festival, a global leader in the promotion and celebration of diverse cinema. I oversee the curation and distribution of high-quality films from Indigenous, Canadian, and international cinema, fostering cross-cultural understanding and artistic collaboration.
