A seasoned design leader with over 15 years of experience crafting award-winning software solutions across various industries, including fintech and edtech. At initio Software, a fintech startup, I contributed beyond a single job description, producing quick-turn design artifacts, strategic leadership, driving product vision, developing design systems, and mentoring talent. At Promethean, an industry leader in edtech, I lead classroom experiences, created engaging, responsive, user-centric apps for teachers and students. At Expedia I crafted context aware experiences, quick-turn design for AI chatbots, and helped ideate, define, and launch the Design Team's research process and pipeline. At Guidant Financial, a small fintech disrupter, I implemented a system to manage UX bugs and enhancements which accelerated iterative software improvements. I lead cross-functional initiatives, as well as used data to improve our cornerstone product’s level of effort rating - dramatically over performed against OKRs. At Wizards of the Coast I grew a multi-discipline team of FTE and contract Designers, writers, animators, and managers of managers; plus managed agencies and video houses.
