The Valley of the Sun YMCA, not-for-profit social service organization with 16 locations in the greater Phoenix area, Flagstaff, and Yuma serving people of all ages for 125 years. The Valley of the Sun YMCA is a values based organization focused on providing programs that help all people improve their spirit, mind, and body.• Responsible for development and management of $1.3M operating budget. 2017 fiscal year concluded with positive increase in operational net of 13% over 2016 fiscal year.• Responsible for overall branch operations of local branch programming and management of staff team of 60 employees.• Created new staffing structure to improve program quality, customer service, and operational efficiency to include 3 exempt level directors and 1 part-time coordinator and 55 part-time employees. • Improved member satisfaction scores in 3 target areas by using SEER Analytics survey data to adjust operational efficiency• Led 2 teams in the successful development of program audits to increase quality and safety for 16 YMCA branches. • Developed and implemented Transportation Policy including driver training model, mechanical and safety inspections for vehicles, and tracking system for employee certifications for 16 locations.• Designed and executed Child Abuse Prevention policy, training curriculum and employee onboarding protocol to be used by 1,600 employees.
