I am a board certified pediatric OT providing occupational therapy services. Clients can now have the convenience of quality therapy right in the privacy of their own home around their schedules. Additionally, I am a professor at Nova Southeastern university and was for many years the assistant supervisor of pediatric occupational therapy for RUSK rehabilitation at Langone Medical Center Hospital for Joint Disease. I managed a staff of 16 OT's and worked with children in both inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation settings. I have certifications in: Sensory Integration therapy as well as administration of the Sensory Integration and Praxis TestPhysical Agent Modalities (hot and cold therapy, electrical stimulation, ultrasound) Brain Injury RehabilitationI am a Saebo trained therapist, and have advanced training in kenesiotaping, the treatment of hypo and hypertonia( low tone and increased tone), treatment of the fragile infant, and NDT training.I have presented information at the local and national level on various topics related to pediatric rehabilitation and have conducted research on constraint therapy sensory integration and early power mobility.My newest adventure is that of a children’s book author. Co-authoring a book with my amazing 11- years old daughter about her journey in school with dyslexia and dysgraphia. We hope to motivate educators while empowering students.
