Deborah's House is a service program for victims of domestic abuse, housing women and children in northern Baja MexicoResponsibilities:• Lead several volunteer groups to complete a variety of ecological projects that aim to reduce the carbon foot print as well as the overall costs needed to maintain a shelter of 30+ people • Designed and installed a solar water heater• Installed solar panels on the roof of the shelter• Designed and installed a three-compartment septic tank. • Currently working on reclaiming the wastewater produced for plant irrigation.
