My name Melissa Scott and I have completed a Diploma in Community Services with BoxHill Institute. After spending the last 20 years developing my career through multiple roles including management in the hospitality industry, I quickly took to developing my skills within the community services sector. I am extremely passionate about our local community and the complex needs of those struggling in today’s society. I endeavor to assist in making a difference in the lives of those faced with challenges. I believe I would gain essential experience and mentoring within your organisation and set me up with skills I will use in what I would like to be my lifelong career in Community Service with a special interest in Youth Mental Health, homelessness and Women in crisis.I feel I can offer empathy, compassion, leadership qualities and a real eagerness to learn and make a difference. I understand the importance of a client focused approach whilst maintaining compliance and industry standards. I have learnt through the many years of face-to-face contact with our community in various locations, the vast and diverse range of those in our everyday society and the sensitivities that may arise.
