Responsibilities include:-Monitor the quality of production parts and new products using lean manufacturing principles.-Perform inspections utilizing manual inspection tools such as granite plates, height gages, micrometers, dial/test indicators, calipers, bore gages, M2 perthometer and protractors as well as using a Faro Arm, Adcole, Zeiss and Optical Comparator.-Prepare inspection reports-Program Adcole-In house certification-Create gaging. For example: dead snaps, snap gages and width gages using joe blocks-Gage Pro System

My job in the Supplier Quality Department consisted of:-Interacting with suppliers on a monthly basis to discuss any issues-Working closely with suppliers to ensure quality requirement are being met.-In the event of a non-conformance I was responsible for contacting the supplier and working with them to get the parts quarantined and rectified as quickly and efficiently as possible.-Create and deliver monthly scrap/non-conformance reports to all suppliers including chart, graphs and interactions with the supplier.-Create graphs and charts for upper management to use in meetings.-Working with Team Leaders with concerns over quality issued and concerns.
