Not every problem that arises can be solved in a clear and concise way. There are many times when these types of issues need out-of-the box thinking and quick decisiveness. That is where my passion lies. In working with learners, creativity and engagement is the way to success. Pivoting from one path of instruction to another is where I excel. In a classroom where boring leads to negative behaviors, I am always striving for the next way to meet the needs of my students.For over 19 years, I have been an educator at Lewisville ISD, where I currently teach behavior intervention to students with special needs. I am constantly looking through the lense of my students to create engaging, differentiated, and inclusive learning environments that foster academic and social-emotional growth. I collaborate with my fellow teachers, administrators, and parents to implement effective interventions and strategies that support student success and well-being.As an educator, I have developed strong skills in verbal and written communications, stream-lined teaching methods, project management, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, multi-tasking, schedule management, and project planning. I am always eager to learn new tools and technologies that enhance my teaching and productivity. I aspire to transition to a career in Learning and Development, where I can leverage my experience, skills, and creativity to deliver high-quality outcomes for diverse and dynamic teams and organizations.
