I've been teaching at the secondary level for the past seven years in a high school setting. I am certified in ELAR 7-12, SPED EC-12, and ESL Supplemental EC-12. In addition to teaching, I have also served as a campus ESL Coordinator for 3 years and campus Instructional Technologist for a year. My passion for teaching came from the experiences I had home schooling my own dyslexic child. Some of my biggest joys in teaching have been working with my students that have learning disabilities. My future goal is to be able to establish an ongoing support program in high schools for students with dyslexia, so that they may be even more successful in high school and fulfill their aspirations of attending top colleges.
