Engaging with clients across multiple processing plants to deliver data-driven business improvement through: • Development of analytical monitoring and optimisation tools.• Frequent use of sophisticated data analytics package to complete productivity improvement analysis.• Continually working to standardise and improve the way we work both internally and with the clients we work with.

• Facilitating site-wide “Building Full Potential” workshops for identifying transformation initiatives and problem solving.• Design and implementation of a new standardised toolbox across all operational areas on site. • Preparation and standardisation of key measures for the management team.

• Leading and mentoring a team of Process Engineers focused on optimising performance of the refinery. This included both the daily performance and the transformation of the area to deliver value and cost reduction. • Lead for increasing vessel life and reducing turn-around time, saving the business $2.3 million per annum. Co-ordinated a multi-disciplinary team across the site to deliver the savings.• Lead for recovering the dilution system capability, reducing unplanned downtime of the system and raw material losses up to $1 million dollars per annum.• Ensuring high quality process monitoring of medium and long term key performance indicators, to optimise area performance.• Ensuring the development of operating strategies for the area to improve safety, reliability, productivity and cost. This involved the engagement of many different stakeholders at all stages of the process to ensure successful implementation.• Ensuring high quality technical support provided to Operations; to forecast area capability and problem solve.

• Responsible for analysing refinery-wide data for deviations from target and implementing action plans to regain control. Also ensuring the refinery was in a position to for planned and unplanned maintenance to occur with minimal impact on production and raw material use.• Required to work with and influence a wide range of stakeholders within the refinery to ensure the plans were achieved.• Developing standardised tools for monitoring the refinery.• Coaching of central control room operators and operational leaders on Bayer circuit operation.• Providing technical support whilst commissioning the Refinery Stage 2 Expansion project.
